| IMPORTANT FRAUD ALERT |
We are currently receiving calls from members regarding a telephone phishing scam. The automated phone call states,"due to a security breach you debit card has been blocked. Please press 1 to reactivate." It then asks members to provide their card number, PIN, and expiration date, and then states that the debit card has been reactivated.
What to do:
Do NOT give out your card or personal information on the phone.
While we may ask for your account number if you have initiated the call to us, we would not call you seeking card information we already have. HAFCU already has your information on file and would not need to confirm your card number or expiration and we will never ask for your PIN.

Did you know?
The Credit Union offers a secure e-mail program through the Zix Corporation. If an email from the Credit Union contains sensitive information, we will encrypt the e-mail. You will receive an e-mail from HAFCU that informs you that you have a secure communication waiting for you from HAFCU. The e-mail will include a link to pick up the message through the Zix secure message center. The first time you receive a secure e-mail from the Credit Union you will need to register on the secure web site; however, the registration will not require personal, non-public information. You will be asked to establish a username, password and password security question. Once established, you will retrieve the email through the secure site. The credit union has also provided you with a secure site for sending e-mail to the credit union. You have the ability to attach documents as well. Click on the padlock on the left or the Secure E-mail link on our left menu to HAFCU's Secure E-mail page. Remember: The Credit Union will never send you an e-mail requesting personal information, account verifications, or other non-public information.
